Effect of Rain and Sun (2014)
In a desire to capture something of interest on my commute to and from home on public transit I started to establish tropes. Across four months I found the ability to repeatedly observe the same objects over many days compelling.
This smokestack on a day to day basis 'just was', it was some of the visual noise which surrounded me and many others. However with a camera, the ability to catch it out of time and compare those times to one another truly revealed the magnificent, a simple object cast into dozens of circumstances; an object most extraordinary.
